Job description
Within a hotel, a bartender is a professional who usually works in a hotel bar and is responsible for serving drinks.
1. *Beverage Preparation:* Prepare drinks, make cocktails and serve various drinks according to customer requests.
2. *Guest Communication:* Interacting with guests, making beverage recommendations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. *Bar Organization:* Ensuring the cleanliness and order of the bar, organizing liquor bottles, glasses and other equipment.
4. *Stock Management:* Controlling liquor stocks, identifying missing materials and placing necessary orders.
5. *Menu Management:* Keeping the drink menu up to date, adding new drink recipes and promoting existing drink options.
6. *Billing Procedures:* Accounting for the drinks consumed by customers, taking payments and making changes when necessary.
7. *Comply with Safety Rules:* Comply with safety standards while serving alcohol and guide customers in responsible drinking.
8. *Entertainment and Atmosphere:* Creating a pleasant atmosphere for guests, organizing events on certain days or delighting guests with entertainment such as live music.
While working in a hotel bar, bartenders are responsible for providing guests with a quality drinking experience, meeting drink requests, and generally ensuring that the bar has an impressive atmosphere.
